It’s disturbing that a few of the 900 people that lost their job now wish for 50,000 more to lose theirs too. I have friends who made the best of the situation and made the lay off the best thing of their life. One now is a director for a large company and does amazing things. Another is now out of retail working in an office and loves the job and wishes everyone the best. I have District staff that have opened and closed buildings to help stores and have given their all to help the stores. The company will do fine, things will still change. Stop with calling fire in an open theater and then think people are going to listen much longer.
It seems these former department managers that were laid off are as delusional as they were lazy. Ever consider why some we're kept? Cause they had a value unlike the drain on payroll and resources the rest were. Maybe it's true what is happening now, don't know and don't care. But even if it is at least those getting laid off now had the skills to stick about 2 years longer than the people who find such Joy in it. Bunch of pathetic individuals.
There was plenty of sympathy for them. Plenty. But you're still around and still so disgusted and angry? Wow. And yes, it's business. Get the hell over it and also maybe move on.
What about those 900 hard working, long-standing and loyal dept mgrs? I don’t remember any sympathy for them. The shoe is on the other foot now and oh by the way it’s just a business decision, nothing personal. Dept mgrs loss their homes, cars and their family was changed forever. These Regional and district staff have not put any real skin in the game, just s lot of complaints on s daily basis. They are going to be without all those benefits and if they don’t like it go to another company!! No one ever wants people to suffer but like they said, it’s just business. I am one of the fortunate ones not to have suffered with BBB and yes it’s nice to see what goes around comes around! I really couldn’t care less if they go under or get bought out and chopped into little pieces and sold off.
Why are you so thrilled to see people who have worked hard for this company maybe lose their jobs? Seems really weird and sad.
