Conference call on March 22, 2019.....all Dannon Reps layed off. ONE week notice....pretty unfair.

Acosta is in debt and yes they did a company-wide layoff on the Danone wave team. I would never ever recommend going to work for Acosta because you never know when you're going to lose your job and you put too much wear and tear on your vehicle for not enough pay or mileage. If you're smart you'll go elsewhere!
So was just wondering. Did the entire Dannon team get eliminated nation wide? I know hours were reduced at the start of year and routes rearranged.
Don't go to work for Acosta because you will get laid off at the drop of a hat. I've heard they are 3 billion dollars in debt and about to go out of business.
All stores have a "store brand" now...i dont care if your safeway or circle k...you dont need" brand name " vendors anymore unless its on a route where you deliver it and stock it...all other is a waste of money for any company...they know it...3rd party vending is dead cuz no one is going to be a sales person for minimum wage...maybe a stocker or cleaner...but a sales person needs to make at least 50 grand a year to put up with store managers b.s.

I was one of those laid off on the Dannon team our last day is this Friday March 29th they laid off hundreds of people not just the Dannon team they're doing a restructure of the company in other words lots of layoffs and more to come I'm pretty sure. We all got two weeks severance pay which I'm grateful for. I look at it as a blessing in disguise where one door closes another door opens none of us were getting anywhere in the company anyways because they don't give raises and their mileage program is tiered it s---s so I say amen and let's all move on! I applied for another route with the company but didn't get it after I heard about the layoff but that's probably a good thing cuz I probably would have got laid off of that Route too. Acosta let a lot of good reps go. I don't look for that company the last much longer if they keep doing business the way they are. Why work and stay the company where you can't move up and they don't give raises it's not worth it I'd rather be on unemployment LOL
