Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Who will be one of the last Global cores left standing?

I predict they will start merging the cores next, regionalizing call centers and even warehouses. Who do you think will be the last cores standing?

Doing some research, there still appears to be 30 cores that report up to XBS. It has been stated here that the final number of cores is to be 20. The Southwest and Chicago have already been cleaned up.

So, in the Midwest LRI probably becomes part of RKD (POE already has). MTBT becomes part of Comdoc. IQI prob remains separate, but could merge with RKD. IOT also probably remains separate.

These are opinions, not facts.

Can anyone say what cores are being merged? We’re in the Midwest and wondering what our fate will be.

They are so top heavy with VPs it's ridicules. In any other large company a VP would manage well over 100 people but at Xerox we have VPs managing 5 or 6 people, another VP or even no one.

On a positive note they all get healthy bonuses..... what a joke.

Yeah that's already happening. Our core is one of the ones being merged.

They already did that. Next will be unnecessary VP’s.

Old news, they've merged several cores already. Why have 3 competiting cores in one city?

The only fear to he had really is at the top levels. Don't need multiple presidents or VP. The main workforce is mostly safe, especially in the services departments.
