It is not unethical for oil company workers and service company workers to have relationships. After all, they work with each other every day. It is unethical if they use the relationship to influence business decisions.

We are not talking about some relatives who just graduated from university and are getting their first job but rather senior level oilfield service management connected back into Chevron.
There is a disclosure process for these cases but I guess corrupt people won’t follow it.
Well that's a slippery slope. Careful in that. Might as well start with the GOM. I guess it's only fair to let people investing and government agencies know what is going on for contracts.
