Personally, I think XWS and XWC are complete and utter garbage. In a world of PaperCut, put XWS/XWC in your bid and lose every time. And even if you don't lose, when it comes time to implement and support it, well .. then you just lose there instead.

The ONE redeeming thing XWC has is the ability to have a local print queue and be able to print to a printer not on the network.

DOCUSHARE? Really?

This keeps coming up in Visentin’s comments about the future of Xerox. I’m just amazed that they are hanging their hats on DOCUSHARE. Does he really believe what he says? Is wall street that gullible?

Docushare is what Xerox used to use for file sharing. It provided online ‘folders’ in which you could store commonly used data. You could set privileges for the folders as to who could view, add or change. Since Xerox stopped using their own product and switched to a competitor, I would have to assume that there are definitely better alternatives out there.
