Coming Back Home To Schenectady........

https://www.wbur.org/bostonomix/2019/05/09/general-electric-seaport-property-sale

Big plans to start the transition back home to the Power base. With Schenectady's renaissance of the Downtown, a perfect fit for the GE Corporate and boost in stock with shareholders to come back to it's roots as it sells everything off.

What are you talking about? It says GE is staying in Boston. This site has gotten ridiculous with some of these mo--nic posts.

Where in the hell in that article do you read into it that Schenectady has any chance of getting the GE HQ back? They left because it's not an attractive community to recruit top talent to.

Another Immelt boondoggle. Say what you will about Culp, but k--ling this idea was unambiguously the right move for both shareholders and employees.

Not bold. Ge specializes in ignoring contractual agreements when it suits them.

"GE will remain on the site as a tenant, however. The company signed a 12-year lease for two former Necco buildings where it plans to house its senior executive team and some 250 employees."

It's pretty bold for them to assume they will remain in business for 12 more years, considering the cash burn rate. At least GE didn't sign a 99 year contract to have to back out of later.
