Thread regarding Ricoh layoffs

Over here on the XRX side, we're all getting 'rebadged' to HCL. I started reading through your thread, and realize we must be working for the same company somehow! EXACT same threads on the Xerox site. I feel for you, we're going through the same thing. IMHO, both of our companies are headed towards a collapse of the industry. 20 years ago the DFE Market went through it (Splash/ColorBus/ColorPress/ColorFlare/Fiery/etc) all collapsed as there were too many vendors. Now we have too many copier manufacturers and not enough people making copies! Lets face it, our industry is the next KODAK. Making a product nobody uses! When is the last time you got a Telephone or Utility bill in the mail? {Let's not bring up the USPS yet!}. The iPhone k--led us all! :-) Click an app, press OK and PRESTO! Your billed is paid... I wish you guys and gals well. I hope we all make it out the other side. But I'm not Naive. Might be time to start looking into Truck Driving School Mav! {Your Friend from the XRX Camp}
