What kind of mess is 3M in now with their legacy leadership? The last guy did nothing to grow the company and this guy doesn’t seem like he knows what to do either. They just keep managing it as they have which isn’t working!

Current CEO is weak. Doesn't have the ability to make decisions and when he does it's the wrong one.

He keeps trying to dearly hold on to the status quo, but 3M needs to innovate and grow.

They need to replace him, ASAP. Not tomorrow, TODAY. Every day he is CEO, the company is going to continue shrinking.

This isn't because of the decline of the stock price, it's due to the future direction based on where 3M sales are going.

Zero to low growth started long back. Financial engineering and cost cutting can help you in beating nos. for only limited time. These structural problems started under long back and unless organic growth returns....things will stay the same
