They’ve been renovating our store for the last 4 months to prepare for this event and then this week, with only days to spare, every single Coordinator, EC, etc has walked our store and asked us to completely remerch everything - including the back of the house. Does anyone on this thread have experience with Annul Gathering and what we can actually expect from the Global folks who will be in town for it?

nothing like regional wasting money on trips that do nothing.
Teams suffer while store leadership goes on trips with vendors that we really haven’t focused on in years just to appease proplems.

Yes, all that money spent and our STL can't even tell us anything motivating or informational that he learned. All he can tell us is how much fun they had and how good the food was. To me a tribal gathering is when all the chiefs get togather and talk about the future of the tribes. They can't do that. The tribes had leaders. Look around do you see one?
It’s hilarious to me that we’re being roasted for overtime when we don’t even have the labor to get the work done, roasted for going over on repairs budgets because our equipment is old and shoddy, shelves are empty and customers are leaving, but they’ve got the money to blow on travel and hotel accommodations for the useless fatcats to pal around for a “gathering.” This is what a sinking ship looks like.
