Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

If I was a longtime shareholder of Xerox

It just amazes me the amount of id--ts in charge at Xerox and how badly this company has been mis-managed for years!

They bring these top execs in to "fix" the company but the shareholders should know the only thing their fixing is numbers!

Constantly manipulating, not paying anybody except themselves and bringing all their friends in to rob the cash cow then like a band of merrymen they take their big fat salaries and bonuses and just move on to the next target! It's just sickening!!!! If someone with a real brain was in charge all these years they could be fifty times more successful and be ruling the copier world instead of being the laughingstock! Why do stockholders not demand better?????

IIRC, 9 of the top 10 largest Xerox shareholders are institutional investors, with Darwin Deason being the exception. They have Xerox to include it in their funds. Xerox has long paid good dividends, and now it's outperforming the market. I'd say the long-term investors are happy. Eventually Xerox needs to get the revenue problems sorted out, but there's still time before that really starts to impact the stock price. If they can just unload the financing business it will buy them even more time. Folks need to realize that the top shareholders don't care about the employees. All of the institutional investors know Icahn and have dealt with him in the past. They knew what they were getting into. None have cashed out, and most have increased their positions.

Xerox stockholders are pretty happy, actually. You, too, can be one. And, it might be a good idea to buy before / if any sale is announced... Icahn has been quoted (I believe) that Xerox is worth at least $40 / share... That's still a bit higher than where it's at now, so, an opportunity to make some lemonade, maybe?

Every sentence ends with an exclamation point except the last, which concludes with five question marks. No credibility.

That’s Icahn’s point.
