Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

XBS core check-in

Just wondering how the XBS cores are doing. Things are not good here and we’re so cut off from knowing what’s going on at other cores. If you’re comfortable, post what core you’re with and what the atmosphere is like.

When HCL was at RK Dixon it was just for a short meeting. It was not for the true up process. We have not had anyone from HCL before. As someone else said, this was an apology tour, not any part of the official training or learning.

Not original poster but...The two people from HCL apology tour were Balaji and Jane, who were there due to the email that got sent to a bunch of people accidentally. Also were there to talk about the leaked powerpoint. It was a bunch of BS. They are going to all the cores, came to mine about 3 weeks ago.

HCL was at our core last week for the true up process. Ill just say this... The people who are coming dont seem to know anything about the larger scope of what HCL is trying to do to all of us. They genuinely are there to learn our processes and are friendly. The majority of them are from Ireland. But it was very apparent to me in meetings they really just thought they were gonna better our processes.

They are in Tampa this week, I believe Zeno.

@YW2J5Nj-bcal - Interesting, that would mean HCL is a month early to RK Dixon. They weren't scheduled to start until the week of June 17th in the 2nd wave.

We had two people from HCL at RK Dixon this week. They are doing a sort of “apology tour”. I’m not sure who to be mad at anymore... Xerox or HCL. Either way, we’re screwed.

Sacramento s---s. They half donkey merged another core in with us and almost all of them have left already. Morale is in the tank. All the top admin people have left for other jobs. But some have left with no current prospects. It’s that bad. We are just waiting for the hammer to drop when they roll us into Mr Copy.

To everyone here that says I dont reccomend Xerox to anyone and I say all kinds of bad things about it you must be in sales. And transient sales at that. We all know the type, sold cars before, copiers today, insurance tomorrow.

Have som loyalty to the people that give it all to your core and clean up your mess like service and backoffice and stop talking c-ap about Xerox and XBS. Are they shafting people? yes, do they care about us? no. Dont make it harder for the ones left to keep gainful employmnt

Change is change and if tou cant deal with it dont, just leave.

Some of the peeple left behind have to stay in and have families to support and are always at the bottom of the hill getting all the p--p from above and people like you whiners

Thank you for the honest comments on here. For those complaining, I have one word for you, mirror. What you see in the reflection is the reason for almost all of your challenges. Those who comment poorly on here can’t hack it, and that is why you are lashing out. The performers are great, and deserve all the parties and perks they get. Our President always says “pick up a bag” and he’s right. For those of you not, if you think you’re being cut, get a backup plan in place now..

Things aren't so bad. There is still work to do and most people are trying. Some are just crying about being rebadged. They gave you a timeline. You're getting a bonus and severance. If it's that bad then just get out.

And I love people who come in here to make comments that add nothing to the conversation. Why not use a little brain power and try offering an opinion or something constructive?

It's not a pity party at all. Just stating the facts. Seems like you're uncomfortable with that. Why spend time here then? There is just cause for the complaints lodged here. Through no fault of our own, our cores are being dismantled... all in the name of greed.

Go cry into your money, you Xerox shill.

“Our core is loosing people every week two - three only 15 HCL left from 26.”

“losing” not “loosing”

Please check your spelling and grammar. Some on this site find errors in spelling and grammar to be highly offensive.

Our core is loosing people every week two - three only 15 HCL left from 26. They are hiring and everything is hush hush! I hear HCL started visiting the cores to start training. So many employees have mentally checked out, not fair for the rest of us having to pick up the slack.

Complete disarray in Columbus. Whaling and gnashing of teeth. Three have quit, two locked themselves in the bathroom and won’t come out and seven have sent nasty postcards to Icahn Enterprises. I have a family and a mortgage and have just had to deal with it. I’ve put my resume on the street but I keep selling until I find something else.

I feel so much better when everyone gets on here and whines and complains. Really helps me to know that everyone is suffering along with me.

I tell anyone I can to stay away from Xerox. I have no loyalty to them, as they clearly give no ships about me. They do not care about the customer. They do not care about their employees. They only care for their shareholders. It makes me sick.

RK Dixon here. Our tech cars got stripped of our name and graphics. They are all white now. Likely will just get a Xerox logo slapped on them. Kinda sad, if you ask me. People really recognized and loved our branded cars and it’s all gone now. Pretty sure we can’t get shirts with our logo on them anymore - only Xerox. We’ve had quite a few people leave. Only 2 of the 23 that were rebadged to HCL (so far). Some top sales talent. Morale is absolutely trash and many people I talk to are not happy and are looking to leave, or at least be prepared for the worst. It’s a really awful time. No HCL people on site tho.

Same sh--, different day, all those not rebadged sort of in denial, kind of pathetic if you ask me, open your eyes people, HCL did not enter the game to not make $$$$$

Keep hearing people at bigger cores leaving everyday

I’m at COS too and both post are accurate to what’s going on here so far. Morale not great (tanked) and a lot of people are looking for new jobs, but nothing has changed YET. Yet being the key work obviosly; no rose colored glasses here, just riding it out until we find new jobs or get payed off.

We have lost over 20 people since the first of the year. About 10% of our work force. More leaving every week. Morale is garbage. The company we know and love is being erased. Things are not good at our core.

OMG

TROLLS making it all sound just so lovely.

Butterflies and flowers like nothing has changed the glory of the Xerox brand.

Never let the opportunity go by to tell everyone how the glorious Xerox has turned on its own

This is the John, Mary and Steve show now- JMS- and they own all of what’s coming about Xerox now.

Take no mercy on the brand, they took no mercy on you

No one let go or laid off yet at Capitol; other than the re-badge and getting extra day's off over what we got before, nothing has changed YET. Expecting that won't be the case in the next few months and we have had a few folks leave already and most folks are planning for the worst that is expected to come by end of year (based on the leaked PowerPoint).
