Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

If we were to use common sense, than we would have to conclude that they are going to do more cut in the first six months of 2019. If, in fact, the 2020 is their ultimate goal, than it would make sense that they do the majority of layoffs in the first part of the year, giving them more time to align the desired headcount of the employees with the 2020 plan. However, common sense was never a guideline to this leadership, was it? That leads me to believe that we will see bigger rounds of layoffs before 2020 hits.
