Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

New (lower) hour budgets and staff structure.

So how is everyone doing with the new store labor structure? We are a C volume with around 400 hours. I know that we will be losing in the next few months (I heard around 375) I heard other stores lost upwards of 200+ hours in their budgets.

It’s going to be interesting to see how much harder it will be to maintain the stores. I’ve always been positive BBb and hope for a positive outcome but it’s concerning now. I’m not sure how to run a store with less that 375- I know we get less freight with this new company that delivers for our area, but how much can you cut back?

Don’t worry about the hours, the location will close. Bed Bath and Beyond isn’t going to survive. I feel sorry for the regular associates but I’m enjoying watching the mgrs sweat!
