Paperwork and decisions are already being compiled to meet this date. It doesn’t matter if you believe it or not we here at corporate know, the stores are the ones getting hit hard this time. If your a full time associate and make $14.00 per hour or above and have earned benefits you are in the danger zone. The payroll corporate spends on your benefits has got to go now! This is the buzz at corporate and corporate is talking. Good luck to all, what a sad reality.

Yup.. all full timers are getting laid off.. corporate is bringing a team of monkeys into stores to do the freight that’s “ being reduced”.. part timers will write there own schedules and Work when ever they want. Steve will teleport him self to each store for key turns and to secure each building every night.
That's surprising, Corporate office is way overstaffed with people who have never been in the field. If they keep getting rid of store staff -- who will the corporate office have to do all the work that they think we have time to do?

What’s going on with this company is the same thing that happened with Toy r Us. How about ST sacrifice his ridiculous bonus and pay for TV commercials and online pop ups !!!! Stop being so cheap.. he can afford it Can’t he!?!?!

Customers are going to be p-ss-d off and word will get around and there goes that business!! BTC is something that bbb is good at but at the rate they are laying off people that BTC business will go down the toilet too. SMH... Customers are already yelling in the stores, “ Hello... Does anyone work here???” Whoever is making these decisions needs to really look at the bigger picture!!

This was already tested in store 9 Paramus NJ a few weeks ago.
They laid off every single full timer in one day.

Well this site was right about the district staff in March. That and the Christmas Tree shop purge. Asm’s are “Hourlies” now. Cut hours, low freight coming in. The end is nigh.
I wouldn’t trust my crater faced HR Cairnduff. Just keep offering the Beyond +. that will get the people coming back lol

Well this just seems like more fear mongering. Why would associates be targeted before mid level supervisors? Who will be left to run the store? ASMs, Sups and part time? Please will someone who REALLY knows something give correct info.

If they seriously are cutting anyone they believe is overpaid except Steve Tamares they should just close their doors now. The customers do not want the 9.00 an hour associate who doesn’t care and doesn’t know anything to help them.
I’m sorry what about all those bs positions at corporate like project manager. Cut the positions that don’t make money for the company. Corporate cuts need to happen.
So is this the real reason they made asms hourly? If they do what is said I hope they go down hard and ST gets what he deserves. Hope it is not true. The loyal employees are the ones making this company money not the revolving door of under paid hourly associates who do not give a ....and steal . More bad decisions again.

I'm guessing that with the reduced fright coming in, receiving people will be let go. I knew this was coming. I've seen it before. I just hope they give severance pay.
