Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Your choice

So much negativity and strong words. Do ppl really think this is all current CEO doing??! State of business should have been dealt with last 20 years over multiple CEO’s. But when times are good no one complains hmmm

And did employers do anything over the years to make a change....

Change was no needed and I believe that JV is doing right change (needs to prove and walk the talk) but I agree we all have to pull our share! And who ever does not want to step in and row in right direction, it’s your choice. Choose different boat!

I do believe we can make change and turn around but it will take leadership, employee dedication no single group or individual can do it unless we do it together!

The “direction” has not been abundantly made clear to the employees other than Norwalk utilization of catch phrases of “Tech Powerhouse” with no substance behind it. We are not selling anything, we are not developing any new cutting edge technology. Other than spending outrageous amounts on Norwalk salaries buying back stock and let’s not forget existing technology (3D) already in the marketplace. Then there is the outsourcing, which in turn is severely compromising the integrity of processes, customer experience, etc. which will be the conduit to bring Xerox down, as is clearly evident with the unbelievable daily HCL screw ups, which in itself is foretelling of our demise. I do hope they are able to clear up the unbelievable benefits backlog before the next round of layoffs, retirements and the astute employees leaving the company daily. And for Pete’s sake, improve the content of the playbooks, so the benefits call agents can actually answer questions in less than 144+ hours

Based on the OP's 47 reactions nearly split 50/50, it would seem to indicate about half of the readers on this site are in agreement with OP, and there is a vocal half that likes to use this forum to b--ch/complain. There has been some valuable information on this site, but the vast majority is just complaining.

If you really think this whole thing is about anything other than Ichan and "JV" trying to raise stock prices so they can sell for a higher number than what was offered at the failed Fuji deal so the top stockholders can make a few extra million you are completely deluded. Literally ... that is all this is about.

This is the Layoffs website.

Maybe you missed that. It’s primarily people getting laid off. Maybe you should share your support for layoffs somewhere else.

Don’t expect “leadership” for layoffs on this board.

By the way, over never seen such a tone deaf post on this board. I’m really holding back from saying what I think about your post.
