We can sit here and say the pollution is China's problem , and it's true it is but this is affecting the climate and natural systems in the world , so in China will coal still be used as a means of producing electric for all of these electric cars ? You bet it will. I agree that China is a big driver for alot of this too , it's going to take them decade's to recover if at all , and I don't see significant change on that countries pollution issue , at least not in my lifetime.
You have way too much optimism for this GM. GM has only ever disappointed. If you believe in miracles however, this could be a first for the corporation.
Listen GM Ford and Fca and other companies do not need a lot of engineers when the industry most stores electric vehicles like they’re forecasting. The main driver for this trend is China. China has a lot of pollution issues and the only solution is to go electric. I have been to Shanghai Sheehan Beijing etc. and the traffic is horrible in China. China is currently selling 23 million vehicles per year. Now all those vehicles are going to be polluting the air in China which is already severely polluted because of the coal industry.
From this perspective GM got the idea of what the next megatrend is going to be and that is going to be electrified vehicles with autonomous driving. So the two technologies which the industries are working on our electrified vehicles which relies on the battery and the optimization of the battery usage for the various functions required by the Waco. The other megatrend is the use of a Dass or autonomous Autonomous driving.
No recently Tesla Elon musk came out and said that they’re at they are having accelerated growth in terms of making the software robust because they had so many electrical vehicles on the road without animals feature in it so he that is the Elon musk is confident that we will let you robust software in a couple of years.
I work in Bldg B and yes we are being moved out, in 2019, but there hasn’t been anything said about what will happen to the empty building(s.)
Man I agree 💯% I specifically remember the look on my executives faces when all of these abrupt changes happened , they all seemed very taken off gaurd and the look they had was very confused and upset. Pontiac at least because the changes happened so fast they didn't know what to say , I sincerely believe they had no pleasure in any of this.
The company seems to be panicking, and trying to save as much money as they can really fast.
I wonder why.
