So maybe close some flood risk areas and move traffic to Brazos?

They could move the work kinda like what they did to Hinkle and Pine Bluff.
good article, but UP isn't going to close down yards just because they flood as suggested. Hope you can swim cause UP don't cancel trains in hurricanes. what evacuation order?
Amazon buy UP. Will restart Brazos Yard and rename it Bezos Yard. Will also serve a space base to send UP Number 1 FG1 Employees to starbase. Ya boy Lance will be the rocket stewardess.
Good read
The PSR model is clearly de-emphasizing the hump classification yard. The current version of UP 2020 is seeing several hump yard closures such as Hinkle in Oregon and Pine Bluff in Arkansas as displayed on a recently released map. Other yard rationalization changes are being examined in the Salt Lake and Kansas City area as new COO Vena tours the UP system. That is a normal process when new leadership comes on board.
Salt lake and Kansas City area
Mentioned them looking at kanas city also. 🤔
