Union Pacific Railroad treats thier employees like sh--, your exposed to all kinds of chemicals, sand that has glass, exhaust, fumes, brake dust.. etc. You have a right to work in an environment that doesnt cause all kinds of illness and cancer, the railroad has the finances to remove all of this and make you work area healthier or less toxic and for get about the health care as much money as this company makes they should have FULL HEALTH COVERAGE ,DEATH BENIFITS THAT TAKE CARE OF YOUR SPOUSE AND CHILDREN, LOOK AT ALL YOUR CO-worker that have died right after they retire or right before, WHY???because of all the c-ap you inhale and are exposed to. Moral is non exhausting they could care less about your family or friends you have worked with for 30yrs. When a brother or sister needs help the railroad is no where to be found they go to funerals to see if your there to mark you off excused absent. Where are the weak unions??? No balls cowards. Fight for just the simple things nothing more. Publicly traded Fortune 500 companies aren’t ON Wall Street dumb--s. They’re OWNED by Wall Street. Even your precious Google. Do some research before posting stupid things.
some of the comments below come from losers that have given up on life. there are plenty of other fortune 500 companies that treat their employees with respect. not all of them are located on wall street. ever heard of google, dumb--s? do a little research on exactly who is on the fortune 500 before you open your mouth.
There are some Fortune 500 companies that are great, but most are privately owned and not Wall Street wh--es. Private companies will generally view employees as investments, while Wall Street views employees as liabilities.
I defy you to find another Fortune 500 company where everyone just looooves working there. This is just the way it is. You are nothing more than a liability here just as you would be at any other big corporation. They simply don’t care about you. They need a certain number of you to run the railroad and trust me, if they could do it, they’d get rid of all of you.
That said, QUIT WHINING AND MOVE ON. GET ANOTHER JOB SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Last safety feed I went to courtesy of Union Pacific gave me chronic dysentery for 3 months. Luckily I went to the doctor and got fmla for it and now I can safely feed myself at home whenever I wish.
