Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

HCL employees only group

I was curious if it was possible.

Could there be a group webpage or forum somewhere that only ‘rebadged to HCL’ employees were members?

Or would it be impossible to govern/monitor/manage or prove

If it could be anonymous like this site but require proof that you are a rebadged HCL employee to join/view/post

Brainstorming here...

Often people are afraid to post or fear the wrong people seeing it...

But regardless, I suppose people would share outside the group and the wrong eyes could still see it.

I’m working a position at my core as I have for the past 12 years and see this as my possible future (and in this order)

1) Find a better job/company (like I thought when taking this job 12 yrs ago)

2) Get fired for ‘cause’ (no severance)

3) Get laid off from outsourcing (severance & unemployment)

4) Collect a bonus if still around 6 months (BonusHA!)

5) Wake up and realize this was all a dream (Like in the TV show Dallas and ‘who shot JR’)

People would be even less inclined to talk because they wouldn’t be anonymous on a page they have to prove their credentials...

I so agree, I am hoping we get the minimum 6 months with bonus then severence and unemployment but at the same time don't believe we will, only because my trust in Xerox has declined rapidly.

I guess I still cannot fathom for the life of me how this whole outsourcing thing is going to work, is there going to be a group offshores working on each core? what about the people not badged, how can they be expected to follow HCL processes when they don't work for them?

There is NO way you can streamline 40 cores into one plan when what made them special and successful was their individualty!
