Do people really think that finding a job anywhere else (unless it's a really small family business) they'd be in a better position than at Xerox now? Companies lay people off even when they are doing well (just check some of the other companies on this forum.)
Job security doesn't exist anymore. Don't expect to find it outside of Xerox.
Oh yeah, there are plenty of better and guaranteed long lasting jobs--even in the industry.

What sets Xerox aside, is that the unconscionable actions taking place are for the sole purpose of increasing shareholder earnings for the largest shareholders.
This is not true. Xerox has become a total sh-t show with an incredibly toxic work environment. It is not only the job security, it is the way Johnny Vas---ne and the rest of his crew treat people. They are so arrogant and disrespectful - I have never seen anything worse. Anyway, I left on my own accord and am so much happier (oh by the way, higher salary and benefits!). I will never work again for a company that is controlled by Icahn - there is not enough money in the world for me to work with such as-----s ever again. The pasture is GREENER out there (maybe not at Conduent - another sh-t show). Good luck to all of you still there.
I agree, however if you where moved over to HCL I think you would be better off elsewhere.
