Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

This place is the worst

I have worked at plenty of big companies over the years, but I can safely tell you that there's no place that's worse than PepsiCo when it comes to management politics and horrible work environment.

Never have I wished so hard to be laid off, instead of the other way around. Leaving this place would be a blessing...

I wonder if Puma has to do the most recent workplace violence training

Puma was featured in People on the Move. I mean how tone deaf in this company?

When a company allows pumas to bite and does nothing about it there is obviously something very wrong. This place was great under Enrico and Reinemund … IK really took us to a new low and this creature now inhabiting the C-Suite only seems to be only interested in cutting costs and running fast. Perhaps we need to outsource his job???

Not saying everything is roses at FLNA but we do seem immune from a lot of this strife that people talk about...

Me thinks that business performance might have something to do with it...

The leaders protecting their themselves and their chosen comrades appear as a bunch rats scurrying for cover.

They are not leaders.

What became of reducing sugar, salt and fat in all PepsiCo products? Looks like that was swept away with the "now environmentally friendly" PepsiCo trash. I guess saving the world is more important than reducing diabetes, obesity, and high blood pressure-1 billion daily consumers but only one earth.

Pepsico is indeed the hypocritical company. So much focus on the values and purposes but in reality only an HR-marketing trick , shameless corrupted , especially in these times of reorganisations. All masks felt.

I came here from pharma and medical devices, which are hardly bastions of high ethics. Even so, this company lowers the bar even for them. At least in that industry, despite the corporate games, the products mostly helped society. Here, I am helping to peddle unhealthy junk food loaded with sugar, destroying people's health all for the almighty dollar. CYA!

It saddens me to hear so much hatred against PepsiCo. I have been with the organization for 15 years and have not had the experiences as many of what is being shared on this site. All I can say is if one is truly that bitter about this organization then I would recommend leaving. The economy is picking up and there are many jobs out there if you put yourself out there to look.

Couldn’t agree more. Try being in GP. We have a leader rumored to attack people and the political strife is total bull. Lousy leadership that lacks direction and certainly lacks the fortitude to deal with difficult situations. Company was once a great place to work. Sad to say but that is no longer the case.
