How much “value” or savings have our repeated RIFs generated? What are the hidden costs? In our case with multiple rounds the hidden costs are even larger IMHO.

It’s difficult to calculate the value associated with higher morale and loyalty. It comes back to more productive employees, but how much money do you spend for this? $300 million for a new Health and Fitness Center? $300,000 for a granite sphere that is lost to the world?
But when the employees and stockholders have been lied to, repeatedly, and the hypocrite “leaders” enrich themselves, repeatedly, you can be sure there’s a huge value and productivity loss. Survivors stick around only to collect paychecks, rather than put in the extra effort which makes us competitive and value adding.
Things will not end well for us.
