Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Another CEO speech ignoring the elephant

Indra was not perfect but this cat comes out of the gate making big changes impacting people career paths and just gloss over it.

When you get more layoff info from publications and this site, over your leadership, the issues are not the individual contributors.

I'd rather drink toilet water than Pepsi products now.

I was one of the lucky people that was still covered under the pension plan. If I hadn't been, I clearly would have left many years before I did. There's really no pay or benefits advantage at Pepsi vs other companies when you pull the pension off the table. Operations supply chain work is the same at Frito as other companies, and I have to imagine that the environment is better at other companies.

WooHoooo!!!! Things are going great! Keep telling everyone to be loyal to PepsiCo products. Just don’t expect PepsiCo to be loyal to you. As you can see from yesterday’s town hall, don’t expect any balance between shareholders and employees. As employees we will always be expendable if it means another penny to the shareholder. Enjoy your 2% pay raise while shareholders get 15%. I for one will not be loyal to this company any longer. From now on, it’s all about me and what I can get.

We won't talk about when the next employees will be let go but make sure you and your circle buy our products. Loyalty expected is not returned.
