Why doesn't UP offer buyouts to keep the young guys on? They have a hard enough time hiring when they need to that I just don't get why they won't do buyouts to avoid furloughing the young guys right now.

LoL most overweight engineers are you old guys that waste time writing up nothing and that your chair is defective because your gut is into the dash to collect more money running the clocks and stall calling for roadmen and cabs to do the same. Great question. There are ALOT of employees who would gladly take an early retirement package.
