CMO out - another CN guy named. Wonder who’s next? Doesn’t take an online University of Phoenix degree to figure it out.

I wasn't aware that UP had any leadership (at least in any meaningful sense) to begin with.
Leaders don't throw their subordinates to the wolves to accomodate arbitrary performance metrics (ex. G55). UP executives have done a poor job of explaining how making railroad operations less efficient will make them more efficient, which is what their current strategy reduces to. If that comes across as Orwellian that's because it is, with a dash of Machiavellian expediency thrown in for good measure.
I guess I got out at a good time. No regrets.
Wait until they new guy gets a load of these id--ts!! Does anyone know if J and itty bitty j jumped together!
Who is the new CMO?
You can really tell how much UP values safety when they promote a women with no field experience to Chief Safety Officer.
She's never been out of the bunker, how is she the most qualified?
All the executives I know of who were sent to Harvard by UP did not receive an MBA. They go to what is called the Advanced Management Program at Harvard. Google it. It is less than two months long and costs $82,000. This is basically a leadership conference. Anyone that attended this and claims to have an MBA from Harvard is being less than honest.
Must be hiring M.O.
let’s be clear...there is no Harvard Boy. Harvard does not accept people with degrees from The University of Phoenix. Those MBA’s are merely a monetary transaction between companies and the school to make money and to cross I’s and dot T’s. Harvard makes a lot of money to handout a superficial MBA to employees of comoanies willing to pony up a boatload of cash so when they promote people no questions are asked as to why they don’t have the proper credentialing. Plain and simple. You can slap lipstick on a pig but it is still a pig. None of these Harvard Boys would be Harvard Boys without the UP monetary transaction. And regardless, an MBA is no guarantee you will be even a mediocre leader...I think that has been proven.
So interesting enough, why would a company that cannot manage anything keep dip sh--s.
doesn't matter if you are a young guy or an old guy, if you do not have skills to manage you are prefect for Union Pacific. This company is so poorly managed that Warren Buffet said no way.
Pretty sad. Get your sh-- together UP, you are turning a once great company into a piece of c-ap
company that is going to fail. Why?? Stock Market guys, like Lance ect.... You are a shame to
our economy. Shame on you CEO's, you are the scum of the earth.
How’s that feel Harvard boy?
