Huge layoffs coming to Citrix since we are not going to meet the first quarter goals. Once again firing older workers that will be replaced with junior staff in offshore locations. It is clear that All that matters to Citrix is cheap labor, to hell with talent, expertise and offshoring risks. Citrix will screw all the people that stuck with the company through the hard times and treated the management like celebrities. It was never a Citrix family, it was just a convenient user game for the VPs that received all the stock and raises this year. Remember, Citrix karma payback is a b--ch. SHAME ON YOU FOR HOW YOU TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES.

Get out of that company while you can. Don't let them belittle you. Believe me: many companies are looking for your skills right now. Everybody I knew who got laid off from Citrix found a better job in a few months (< 3 months) and that was during the massive layoffs of 2017 so you can assume there is a broad range of skills/experience/age there.
Citrix seems desperate to keep their stock price afloat, no matter the cost. Anything is fair game for them. Employee's lives obviously don't matter much.
I left a manager position for a director role elsewhere and so glad I did. They don’t care about the employees.
