That’s my general opinion, and I believe the same picture can be seen at other locations as well. People are jumping on any opportunity to leave the company even for a lower pay. Don’t really know how people can operate in such an environment, much less do any productive work.

There is a better life after GE! I got my walking papers and it was a blessing seeing the path that awaited. Now 1 1/2 years gone after my 17 years of white collar service and my life could not be better. My advice is to start looking before your competing with constituents for a new career. This goes for blue and white collar current General Electric employs. “Best wishes in your future endeavors” that line is a quote from my walking papers. What a shame this company has become.
GE is experiencing an unsustainable atrition rate. It will be difficult to recover after the loss of so many seasoned engineers. They’ve really screwed the pooch this time.
the morale is as well
The grass not greener? .. I worked in industry many years before I hired in at GE and I will tell you something, if the same BS gets pulled at other companies as what goes on there... you will be fired plain and simple..... please... the grass isn’t only greener it pays more!
Just wait until your GE biz unit gets sold and your morale will discover a new floor.
The grass is not always greener.
