IT is the first being hit in this reorg, but business support services (procurement, finance, legal and so on) will be hit hard next. They will be regrouped under GBS. Look for jobs moving to different hubs and an assessment of which functions can be shifted to managed services aka outsourced to contractors.

The ironic humour here is that the same Pepsi HR and legal staff preparing your packages will soon be screwed as well. I hope they enjoy the packing their boxes and getting the walkout !!!
Q2-2019 to 2022; next 3 years ...GBS, will be like shared services model... most probably some managers on shore and bulk of worker bees will be offshore. Future of this company is turning out to be fully consulting.
