Yes I have been told things by Brokers that are going on throughout the company. BD, Senior Management and Managers aren't transparent at all about what is going on.
And yes, the funny thing is that we always hear the news from the brokers and not from our management

Private Client Group (PCG) was one of the most profitable groups in AIG, but the senior executives who ran the business left and went to the competition, taking their business with them. No one in AIG will make a decision with their Management council reviews. Every decision over a certain dollar amount goes to a "leadshipship team". Decision and spending that used to be made by managers (grade 21/22) now goes to SVPs (grade 25/26). No one is trusted and no one dares to make a decision. The company has been hollowed out and is a shell of the AIG power house it once was.
