Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Sales Status

I’ve been told, sales representatives will not be affected? Is this true? Xerox or GIS?

How about service and backoffice support for sales offshore? We barely even work these days

Sales comp will not be changed in 2019. It will be changed in 2020 to align with Xerox direct sales comp plans. There were some Fat Cats within Xerox direct sales that did little work and were paid handsomely. I'm not sure if those comp plans will be made available to XBS, but I wouldn't say they are necessary "less lucrative". Like any sales job, if you perform, you should be paid handsomely. The only question is, how well can you perform if the support structure around you has been decimated.

They will revamp the Sales Commission plan soon - it will be far less lucrative for them. XRX leadership finds very creating ways to F over employees across the departmental spectrums.

XBS Sales is not being impacted. In fact, the word is XBS is looking to add sales positions. Perhaps as many as 200+.
