As of today we have been notified that all ASM’s are hourly employees. We were told this is company wide.

What’s the big deal. California asm in every company not just Bbby we’re hourly, only store managers were exempt. This was caused by misclassification in about a hundred lawsuits during the 2000’s. Jeez you people think the world is coming to an end.

Well it’s about time, I know for a fact that ASM’s didn’t want to clock. Now the company will know exactly when they are there and not unless they continue to go and come when they want (this has been going on forever). If they continue there are still enough people in the bldg that will turn them in and that will get the ball rolling toward an investigation for theft of time. When dept mgrs had to block ASM’s didn’t think it was a big deal but now that are all bent out of shape. What goes around has come around! Be careful now that your hourly cause everyone is watching to get you!
