I’m guessing no, but not really an expert on the matter, so thought I’d ask.If this HCL deal works out as the Xerox leadership expect they will be outsourcing more and more, an who could stop them.

What is MIS?
All of MIS teams in XBS will be outsourced starting in May. Emails went out to c suite.
There may be some facets of Federal sourcing that can be impacted. As the Fed government is still Xerox largest customer, Xerox outsourcing practices are not exactly a bright spot in RFPs currently.
In the US, no, as most employees are covered by 'employment at will' agreements. The exception, of course, are Unions. I have seen Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA's) that do include language that places restrictions on outsourcing; but, I am not familiar with Xerox's CBA's to know if such language is included. I did hear whispers that Icahn's team requested all of Xerox's existing CBA's way back in May when his team took over and wanted them without informing the Unions. No idea what actually happened, but it was right around the time when's Xerox's former Chief Counsel left on 1 days’ notice.
The more that is outsourced, the less core competencies you retain. Might be good short term, but a disaster long term.
