Basically the entire chain has been indoctrinated to Frontier and the Pulse ways of working. With budget reductions, busy pharmacies, etc, what does a weekly Pulse meeting look like in your stores? Are you even doing it? Are your DMs watching Pulse meetings? Even though Frontier and Pulse are great ideas, we can't continue to execute the weekly meetings with our budgets? How is Pulse going out there?

As such compny is slowy being eatin up by euro or britsh . like .. they did in colonial days.
We have pulse on truck days and 5 from front end and 2 from pharmacy and not just measure owners. We are rocking pulse. It is half an hour well spent as we have seen marked improvement in all measures.
Once these latest cuts go into effect no way we will be able to continue the meetings weekly. I guess I will have to follow up with everyone individually. Not sure how effective it will be.
Everyone understands Pulse is only effective if managers can manage. Since they cannot adjust for their local needs, Pulse is just an excuse to socialize. Not long though, because there is never more the cashier, as the only non-store leader on the floor, needs cashiering backup from anyone wearing a vest. Basically, we see Pulse as a way for the company to greatly reduce the District Manager headcount.
My SM is so afraid about losing his job, he has pulse meeting every week, even if it's only me and him.
We now do a shortened and scaled back version of pulse when the store has the people to do it. If there is only one or two people available, Pulse gets skipped. Due to slashed budgets, Pulse is skipped about once a month.
Waste of time! Better things to do.
The pulse at my store is all this frontier stuff is a colossal waste of time.....were a company run By euros ...our CEOs girlfriend is second is Command ...so I'm gonna a skip the pulse meeting and start dating my ASM
