People with FMLA

Just heard that all people that have FMLA and have used 50% or more are being looked at for termination for abuse. With the Orange one in office, there is no way they can be protected. Thank yourselves.

People are forced to get FMLA because the company wont let you take a day off When you want or need. Whether it be vacation, sick, personal, or whatever.

The problem is, we actually had people post thier fb doings while they were on fmla.....

And, they are still employed.....

When people lay off it makes the productivity efficiency numbers increase. No work no pay efficiency increases. The only thing getting hurt is the employees paycheck. Rich railroaders that don’t need paychecks. If the RR can get by without these employees working it gives them more reason to reduce more people.

If you take FMLA and go on vacation to Jamaica and you post on Facebook pictures of yourself in Jamaica and talk about how great your vacation is and how much work s---s all while using FMLA, then yeah you’ll be busted. If you’re using FMLA like a normal person you’ll be fine. If they do mess with you I’m sure you can find a line of lawyers that want to help you sue them.

I don’t see why the company would care. It isn’t like it’s paid time off. Even if someone used their vacation that’s their vacation.

This company is A$$ Backwards

You're thinking WAAAAAYYYY outside the box there. These bozos aren't capable of such high level thinking. Easier to just keep the same ole same ole policies and pretend all is good.

They could solve a lot of the problem if we had paid sick days or could swap days on straight time with or coworkers.

Fmla was destined to be abused from conception. Thats the way clinton wanted it.

I managed several fmla abusers there. They were protected by thier family and freinds in hr.

They knew what was going on, but it was clear you dont take issue with it.

50% of the abused people at my terminal would be terminated. Better get to hiring and pony up some money because they can’t even get people for 20k hiring bonus in my area.

Stay strong guys and gals. If you need to lay off....DO IT. This is scare tactic. Threats and intimidation as per their normal operating routine. Use it if needed and don't even worry about it (the B.S.).

I legitimately use fmla all the time. If they fire me I’ll see em in court. Nice try you anti fmla guys like to try and scare people into not exercising their right to use it for reasons that we’re approve by your doctor and the RR.
