We all know the next round of layoffs at BB&T is coming, but the main question now is when? Do we have any idea on a time frame?
I'm asking primarily because I've already started panicking again, and it would be nice to know if I have another month or two before getting myself into a tizzy over it.
I think the beat thing to focus on is if it is you that gets laid off they are giving out Severance packages pay down some debt and find a different job
After receiving an email about how they are going to announce all the changes in positions by end of April, and will treat the employees fairly, I talked to my manager and was told I was being silly and that there wouldn't be any lay offs. Either they are totally ignorant, or good at lying. I hope I'm not on the chopping block, but am trying not to focus on it too much. Sorry if this isn't helpful, but it seems like the next wave will be next month sometime.
Im the same way. There are going to be layoffs. I've come to the realization that there's nothing you can do about it.It is out of your hands and unfortunately it's an other people's hands they control your destiny as far as your career here.
