Don’t want to alarm anyone, given that i don't have any info about this, but I have a hunch that the process of getting rid of older employees is no over and that the second phase is about to happen. I bet they will be laying off after the season is over and offering part timers full time jobs. How possible is that scenario that made sense i my head?

If they want us gone, all they have to do is ask. All FT'ers I know are looking elsewhere and absolute hate everything about Lowe's now. Managers are FOS. They threaten, dictate, dont listen, and manipulate. Kronos, XPO, CPO, etc all said to "better serve the customer" is the opposite, they all know it at corp, and pretending still goes on. DROVES of loyal customers have refused to deal with Lowes again after XPO 's consistent unprofessional service and unreliability, CPO's incompetence, and lack of experienced employees and / or help by seasonal, brainless minions.
And Corp and stores just acrry on as if its not happening, and expecting more from FT'ers and even blaming them.
We got 10 business apps this past week. TEN! Not any word of good job, great going... NOTHING! Just.. the RVP wants 30 next week. WRF - clowns. Everyone is shutting down with unrealistic expectations, no rewards, and no results from anything.
I dont know about you, but anyone with an iota of self-respect, logic, reason, and integrity knows that this atmosphere is s**t, failing, and a serious downward spiral.
Managres and employees at the store level can never succeed, or meet unrealistic corp expectations because they are in fact, UNREASONABLE.
They forget that all these problems and current state Lowes is in, IS BECAUSE OF CORPORATE!
Now they expect me to wave a magic wand and get all Pro Business back after years they allocated store employees at Pro to cashiers, lumber, receiving, etc. All pro business has left! They couldnt get service at desk, or on phone. They left for Home Depot.
Now, corp sits there and expects miracles, without providing the resources. Well, f* y!
We are still tasked everyday, theres no coverage, and my market director, store manager, and everyone above them can tongue my yam bag backwards.
Im doing a great job, and dont need as snot-nosed clown manager with acne telling me so, or bands of male cheerleaders saying rah rah rah lests go!!! Fire these a-holes, they are useless. We excel when not micromanaged, pestered, tasked, and annoyed. Thats all my managers do. No support at all!
I had 2 interviews last week, 1 the week before, and the 1st job that fits with me, Im gone.
Lowes doesnt deserve any employee with a brain, integrity, or loyalty. If you are ethical, RUN AWAY FAST! If you want reasons as to why to do something, RUN AWAY FAST! If you expect professionalism, and managers who dont lie, RUN AWAY FAST!
And Im told store 1192 -another nearby - is 10x worse than mine in Paterson. I cant even imagine.
Im told their del manager and coordinator up and quit because the store manager is so unethical, they couldnt handle it.
Here in Paterson NJ, I filed. So we'll see. But we have in past too and only employees get fired and its business as usual.
I wish Marv & CO LUCK, but they have a lot of cleaning to do at management levels to get some ethics back. Employees need to trust superiors, not the opposite. We need sound reasoning, and professional managers. We need support, not lies, threats, intimidation, and a hostile work environment.
Hire managers with qualifications.

I don’t know about that. With this Centric schedule that they are testing. If part time and seasonal do not have the availability to work for the needs of the departments and business. They are not guaranteed any hours.
They are trying to force out the long term part timers at my store as well.
Lowes is using new scheduling "tool" to try to force full time people to get frustrated and quit. It makes everyone unhappy and even the customers. Screwed up and unfair system that is implemented on purpose to drive people out or make people end up in the hospital.

I wouldn't put it past them. But not a layoff. It would be multiple write ups. The new scheduling that's going on will handle there issue of having experienced employees in store and there payroll issues. Multiple call offs for scheduling. Only people on a consistent basis is the msa s in store and mgmt an supervisors. But mines never on the floor or in his dept. And there okay with that. I'm okay with it too now. Can't respect someone that's got a title by mistake. Besides who wants to run 7 depts by yourself. Because they can't schedule or more to the point they won't do there job.. hey my sup won't even come out to the floor to help multiple call buttons going off. Yea there scared i get it no experience to go with that title. Good luck everyone who loved where they work. Remember we are the Lowe's in blue. Not that orange down the road..
