actually, i work really hard, in multiple departments and enjoy helping customers. so i am not crying about working hard and taking pride in what i do. it is the decrease in pay and bonuses, the increase in expectations and requirements that used to be with the higher paying specialists. i am now responsible for leads and sales and i don't get half of what they make. lowes cannot change my job description every year and create requirements that will cost me my job when i am good employee. it is calculated. it is wrong. in fact, i think i need to see it in writing. but, rest assured WHAH, i take pride in my work and what i do and i know there are a lot of good, hardworking people at lowes who are being taken advantage of, held to a new and wrong standard, and will be pushed out the door because of a change in business model and a desire to pad middle management and take the store to PT, that in the end, will not work. it was said to us that people will be fired - from cashier to store management. 3 times, you are out.
