Rumor has it that the current changes in the Santa Clara buildings are a cover for a much more sinister agenda. The smoke signs say it is just a ruse to upgrade the buildings to make the campus more attractive to any bidder for the campus. The plan is to sell all three buildings lock stock and barrel to any bidder that wants to take over the Santa Clara campus. There is no low bid, any bid will be accepted.
As a result there will be significant staff reductions and any staff left will be forced to work remotely or told to look for jobs elsewhere.
The Santa Clara campus shutdown is finally here in 2019.
