So GM had a hiring booth at the Ostrich Festival in Chandler, AZ this weekend - looking for Software Engineers. Could you at least wait a few months before looking for my younger, cheaper replacement?

In Austin they were hiring NCHs who had no programming experience at all, but were (mostly, but not all) STEM majors.
Strangely enough, they survived the layoffs when more experienced people didn't.
What they are doing to NCH's in Chandler is laughable!
Ask any one of them what a Singleton pattern is and most dont know
Speaking of Arizona , what about Yuma , did they lay off people there too?
