I apologize if this was already a topic on this board.I don’t visit it very often and I really couldn’t find anything on the subject, while scrolling through the threads. Anything rumored in March?

He was a victim of being a highly paid white guy near 60 years of age. If you fit this category, there’s a target on your back (unless, of course, you’re an executive). He was layed off after turning down an early retirement offer. I’ve seen this happen several times now, so the post beliw is correct. If HR offers you something consider that a warning that you’re on the hit list.
The only one that knows is the green lantern
Was he a victim of the cross fleet fiasco or SAGPO?
The CE missed a buy out so he was forced out.
Lesson learned: When HR says you should leave then you should leave. Don't listen to your manager instead, no matter how senior.
@1ibz, ask the last Chief Engineer who was let go a couple weeks ago if there are cuts happening in Greenville. Hmmm
So is the new reorg going to increase turbine inlet temperature?
The Power reorganization is almost complete. Yes, another reorganization. The reorganization is an attempt by clueless leaders to come out with a new structure that will magically have better results. In reality, the leaders don't know what they are doing. They are clever with their words and will use buzz words to try to spin the reorganization as something positive.
How are they going to layoff salary in greenville when they just hired engineer's in Greenville? Hmm
If they were actually planning to do 80% layoffs, they might as well go ahead and round up to 100%. Those who would remain would not be enough to operate the business.
I heard there would be 80% layoffs in March. I don't know if that's true. Time will tell.
After the first quarter results are out, there will be layoffs definitely.
There have already been layoffs in March (in Greenville). They are being done more quietly it seems. No early retirement offers went out immediately before this last round, just swift and devastating cuts for those affected. I believe services was hit again, and more to come under Lammas’ organization as the consolidation continues.
