Just wondering,I certainly haven’t seen any. Even more this whole situation look to me like jus a big mess that stretches from store level to, I imagine, company headquarters. Processes are slower,new workers are hard to educate, no additional profit. Sad to say that our colleagues lost their jobs for nothing.

Our store is at the lowest point I’ve seen in 10 years! Sales are down, customer count is down, nothing positive has come from Ellison’s appointment to CEO. No HR in the store has left employees at the mercy of incompetent management. You can’t get a straight answer to any question.

He has the "theory" down, seemingly. I mean cmon, on paper cutting the underachieving "fat" stores, the pathetic PSI program ( I know, I worked it!), and fat cat corp positions ARE good moves! Long term it will only help the company.
But his "practice" end of the equation s---s. Theory and practice work in concert, together. So if he doesnt implement the theory properly, the practice s---s along w/ the theory.
But look. I encourage you all to use your "heriarchy" tree and send an email. Professionally, factual, and polite. Addressing the issues affecting your performance. Many times corporate people are being sold nonsense by store managers so let them know what is REALLY going on. If anyone comes back at you, its a Lowes Retaliation clause violation.
Lowes has other resources in place such as ethicspoint.com where you can file anonymously. If you are worried about anonymity, file from a friends pc or phone, or from a Starbucks network.
Rally your dept, or store. Type a letter, have employees sign it., Then send it to Marvin.

There will be no improvement we can see or measure. The stock market may see it as all good, but at the store level it’s going to continue to be more work with less help.
Efficiency, aka cuts to everything, is the new model. Get out now.

Ours has not yet quit.
Made all coordinators part time. Shifted all work to PSE as a result. PSE now expected to generate all leads, do in homes, sell, tender, order, track, follow up on deliveries not scheduled, take care of customer issues, generate work orders, warranty requests, signage in store, project tool, ims, CPO no do items, genesis updates, selling details, training associates, covering millwork and working 60 hours a week as a result. Of twelve in my Market 4 quit a week after psi layoff.
Whats up with PSE? Why did 1/3 of them quit?
Pse program lost about 1/3 of veteran employees in that position. So look for sales to tank there.
No positive changes here, just people losing their jobs and veteran employees quitting because of the increased workload and constantly changing mandates from above.
