It's understandingly clear that the company name is dead and corporate has been trying to stray away from it. At one point, they attempted to rebrand to "WE", and now everything is KINETIC (in CAPS) powered by windstream (in fine print). I've seen where businesses are cutting their ties all together due to the current credit rating and financial fallout, but WIN is reentering under the brands of one of the many subsidiaries. We've all heard the saying that it's just lipstick on a pig, but I expect it to get much worse once the public catches on to these shenanigans.

Kinetic "is" Windstream. The fiber to the cross-connect is a step in the right direction, but there's still deteriorated copper to the customer.
Been better if they left the by Windstream off. I've heard customer say that kinetic is so much better than Windstream on in the field
