Dbx. I agree with you. The saddest part is 19 doesn't care. Collateral damage in their minds.
It just a matter of time when a disaster happens to the public due to deferred maintenance or another safety short cut. With all the hazardous cargo UP hauls it’s kinda scary.
First i do believe psr is a better way of running a railroad. And second, I do think a hedge fund is involved. If it works then they make great returns. We could argue that has already happened. If it fails then they bail out early " such as now or by next quarter" and they make great returns. They have already won. Whats left over/after is for us to find. Its all about the share holders now in america, squeeze every dime out of every company no matter the cost/damage/risk/legacy. What a shame. Psr is not to blame its just the excuse to cut deep with out regard for employees/company/history.
Yes, the money men behind the changes at the railroad need brought to the forefront.

Yes, this how these people operate, behind the scenes with puppets like Fritz as the face of the layoffs.
Larry Fink is a lifelong Democrat. Remember this next time you vote. There is no such thing as Democrat or Republican. Only ruling class and the rest of us.
Sounds like UPRR is actually Blackrock Railroad !
Blackrock wants to work work quietly in the background and let Lance take the blame. It's how they work. They don't want the SEC or STB involved in this, or anyone in Congress looking into it too closely. Lance's orders are to sell PSR as better way of railroading, covering up the fact that it's actually a hedge fund management strategy.
