Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

Is the appointment of the new COO an introduction to more C-suite managment changes?

This Reuters article talks about the appointment of the new COO as just the beginning of a process of changes and shifts in high-level management. Even more, it talks about this process as something that’s imminent, even though I haven't seen any official announcement on this subject. I know that a change of management is something that could be expected at SLB, but is a bigger shift in the company leadership really in the making? Does anybody have more info on this?
