GM workers make 50% more than BMW, Hyundai, Nissan, and Volkswagen workers stateside. Are those companies laying off every few years? UAW shills feel free to downvote away.

GM pays well, but not 50% more than other roles at other companies. More like 10%....

They probably don't bloat their ranks to the same degree.
This site is mostly for folks in professional positions, not assembly line work. Most professionals are paid according to the position, skillset, and years of experience. You're blowing gas about factory worker payscales, which no one cares about here. Please log off, you don't know what you're talking about.
