They are leaving job trimming decisions to the same up managers that ran it into the ground anyways. Yes, people that stick thier neck out will still get it lopped off and the diversity farm will still be used as a recruitment and pr tool. Up still has yet to show it is truely committed to serious change. So far its just dog and pony show to wow wall street so the stalking horse gets richer

I see the same article says that companies that lay people off in “downsizing” are never any better at performing over the long term than those that don’t. People left after the layoff are less productive, risk averse, less innovative, and less collaborative. Again, short term money grab with no real long term advantage.....
