I watched 2 get walked out so...Chief engineers.
Top executive of a company has to be a liar. Otherwise, people will not buy their products.
In my past experience, executives were not terminated like the rest of the employees, they were given a much softer landing. They either were forced in to a retirement package or told they have 6 months to find another job. None were walked out.
Metro cars have nothing to do with executives and 8th levels. We were able to keep our cars until the end of the month. I think that they were there for employee that had engineering vehicles. And I agree, it sure doesn’t seem like 25% of executives were separated.
8th levels get company cars but are not considered executive level. Directors and above are executive level.
I know 3 executives that were forced out... happened same time as contractors.
I know zero executives cut in my entire large organization.
There will be more blood in all of auto industry unfortunately...
They are professional liar.
I can't believe they are doing it again. I saw this play out at GM during the 2008-2009 debacle. They barely laid off any executives while the lower ranks were hit hard. And yes, I know how they shuffled names and positions of executives to avoid government scrutiny.
I have seen many articles that are reporting the fact that Barra is axing 25% of the executive staff. I would really like to know if this is true.
Just because you didn’t see them cut in your area doesn’t mean there wasn’t a 25% reduction between VSP and ISP.
I was near the west entrance of the VEC Twr and could see the metro cars 7-10 of them waiting to be called up front and center. And that they were only about 10 minutes apart all day Monday and all day Tuesday. I WFH Wed due to weather but saw them back on Thursday, slightly fewer in number. Today was the first day I did not see them. And, some groups were hit harder while others barely took a lick.
i'm in a large org with numerous directors, none of which have been let go
my former exec director (was forced to) retired. we got shifted to one of the worst. s---s
