I would entertain a job paying even 20K lower in pay over an offer from GM you may have. GM management and leadership is the worst ever and I am not exaggerating when I say this. Not only GM leadership style s---s, they also don't respect their employees much, as evidenced by the recent firings that we have all heard of. In spite of this, if you still want to work here, you are nothing but a s---er for punishment and deserve GM treatment! Good Luck!

Not every other employer, in anything like this one. GM/Detroit folks seem to often feel it must be the same everywhere. Big mistake, get out more, not so.
It is not like every other employee has never done a layoff. This is what corporate America has become.
