It is clear she has no understanding of GM's Core Competencies are nor how running down the low margin "ride hailing business" path is a return path to bankruptcy.
If she wants to run a Tech Company there are plenty for her to choose from. And then she could leave the hard work of designing, engineering, manufacturing and marketing truly exceptional vehicles to those who are passionate about doing so.
Personally if I want the lowest cost way to get from point A to Point B in a major metro area ... I'd rather have a human at the controls than a bunch of electronic sensors. And what about the risk of Heaven forbid the first time an autonomous vehicle killing multiple humans in a single incident and Lawmakers shutting the whole thing down until the NTSB can finish a 12 month investigation.
IMO there are plenty of "Tech Companies" out there she could run and leave the great designers, engineers, manufacturing and marketing personnel here to make GM Better Than Ever.
