Any chance our department could be done with layoffs even if we didn't get the "all clear" email or notification?

umm.. For now.. until the next round... 6 months... a year... two years...there will be another round..
It's business... Nobody can guarantee you anything.
Probably so. If your manager didnt give the all clear, that means that someone from your group who was either on vacation, disability or offsite will get the boot. But those who werent asked to come to conference room, rest assured are safe. [Unless if another round starts]
Actually, check your email from Mark. All separations as of today are complete.
It's not official until they tell you it's done.
